Coastal decor outside has the house dripping with coastal charm. Under the house there is covered parking for two as well as a fenced area for your four-legged friend. Just off the parking area a ramp leads to the elevator, with stops at every floor, for easy handicap-friendly access or to make light work of loading suitcases, groceries and the week's supplies into the house. Also under the home, you will find an outdoor shower with changing area, fish cleaning table with lights and water and a unique fishing pole storage area as well as a foot bath to keep your beach castle sand-free. One of the most notable features of this home is located on this ground level just out back; an unshared walkway leads straight from the house and descending deck stairs over the dunes to the beautiful soft sand beaches of Avon
This home while not the largest home, is one of the most well thought and well taken care of homes we have stayed in in over 15 years at the OBX. Every detail was thought out. Lots of deck chairs, some higher so your view is unobstructed, plenty of seating for the dining table, well stocked kitchen, great appliances, holders for fishing poles, pen for a dog on the lower level, broom and vacuum on each floor, even lighting on the entry stairs to the outside for night time. The owners obviously spend time here and take care of this home. The home was one of the cleanest homes we have stayed in upon arrival as well, this management company is the best one we have dealt with as well. The views in the home are amazing. We all had a great, relaxing time. Do yourself a favor and book this house, but after I get a week!
